No, you are not required to be an accredited investor to invest through the PetroFunders platform, though investment limits may apply for some investors.   

Currently, joint investment accounts are not an option on the PetroFunders platform. 

There are fees associated with the partnership with AltoIRA. These fees can be viewed on the AltoIRA website here.  

1. 1. If you have completed the investment process within the last 1-2 business days, you should be able to cancel your investment through your dashboard. If you have trouble with the cancellation process, please contact us at invest@PetroFundersUSA.com.
   2. Once you have finished the investment checkout process and your investment has been completed, you will become an owner of record, and you will no longer be able to cancel your investment. 

Yes! Our platform makes it easy to make additional investment at any point. Additional investment is still subject to the investment minimums and any legal limitations.

Yes! Anyone (U.S. citizen or international investor), who is over the age of 18 can invest through the PetroFunders platform. No accreditation required.

PetroFunders may waive the management fee in certain circumstances incentivize investment. 

1. 1. Our platform gives you the ability to create multiple investor profiles. To create an additional investment account, visit the Profiles tab of your dashboard and click Create New Profile. 
   2. If you elect to create additional profiles, separate Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks will be required for each profile. 

1. 1. Each investment option has an associated checkout process which includes steps on how to finalize your investment selection. The most common way to complete the funding of your investment is through an ACH transaction from your bank account. This is achieved by entering your banking routing and account numbers though a secure receiving portal.
   2. Currently, we do not accept investment via credit/debit cards or from savings accounts.  
   3. There is also an option to invest with approved retirement accounts. 

Visit  www.PetroFundersUSA.com and click on “Create Account” in the upper right corner of the webpage. Follow the steps to create your account. Following the creation of your account you will be able to view the open investment opportunities.  

To update your receiving bank account information for distributions, please send an email to invest@PetroFundersUSA.com requesting this change. 

The PetroFunders platform is built with safeguards to protect personal information. Additionally, we have partnerships with third parties who are the best in class as it relates to securing personal information.  

1. 1. PetroFunders investments should be viewed as a long-term investment. For the initial 3 years, there will be no liquidity or secondary available for transfers or trades. 
   2. Most similar investments in other asset classes have hold times that exceed 5+ years.

For RIF I, we plan to update NAV monthly. 

Net Asset Value (NAV) is the estimated value of the assets held by a fund. 

Internal Rate of Return (IRR) is a financial yardstick used to describe the profitability of potential investments. 

Currently, the minimum initial investment on the PetroFunders platform is $10,000 and open to all investors – accredited and non-accredited. 

Each investment vehicle has its own return profile. For example, RIF I is designed to earn income in the near term.   

Each investment product will have its own distribution schedule. Typically, we aim to send distributions in the middle of the month following the end of each calendar quarter. 

Your bank account information will be required as you go through the investment checkout process if you chose to use the ACH payment method. 

Under the Summary tab in your dashboard, the annual management fee will be listed and should reflect any waived fees.

You can view the annual management fee for your account on your dashboard in the Summary tab. 

Anyone (U.S. citizen or international investor), who is over the age of 18 can invest through the PetroFunders platform. 

By law we are required to collect this information in order for you to become an investor. This information is required in order for us to complete our KYC/AML checks.
